With over five years of experience working with children in the school and special education system, Laura has developed a profound understanding and ability to connect with individuals with special needs and developmental delays. Her multifaceted roles have fostered a wide range of skills and knowledge, giving her a unique talent for creating meaningful connections, and a talent of understanding the unique needs of this population.
Additionally, Laura has gained valuable experience during her six-month internship as a counseling intern at an intensive outpatient eating disorder clinic. She had the opportunity to work closely with individuals struggling with eating disorders, providing them with compassionate support and evidence-based interventions. Through her internship, Laura honed her counseling techniques, deepened her understanding of the complexities of eating disorders, and developed a strong foundation of skills and tools to support her clients.
Laura’s past experiences in a variety of settings have contributed to her knowledge and skills, which she continues to expand and refine. Laura is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest research and treatment approaches. Laura's commitment to ongoing learning allows her to provide her clients with the most effective and comprehensive care.

Laura is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP), and has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
