Taylor has been practicing as a pediatric occupational therapist since graduating from Methodist College in 2023. She is passionate about supporting children and families through a relationship-based, child-led approach that honors each child’s unique strengths, interests, and developmental differences.
Her clinical interests include DIRFloortime®, feeding therapy using the Get Permission Approach, and supporting visual motor and visual perceptual skills to improve participation in everyday activities. She enjoys helping children build confidence, regulation, motor skills, and meaningful connection through play and attuned interactions.
She values creating a warm, collaborative environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to engage at their own pace. Her approach focuses on building strong relationships with both children and caregivers while supporting functional growth in ways that feel joyful and meaningful to the child. She especially enjoys incorporating movement, sensory experiences, creativity, and play into therapy sessions to support development across environments.
Outside of the clinic, Taylor enjoys crocheting, reading, spending time outdoors, and staying active through tennis and sand volleyball. She also has a deep love for animals and enjoys any opportunity to include them in her life and work.
