Taylor Gutzman
Occupational Therapist
MSOT, OTR/L
Taylor enjoys working with children and adolescents to help them build confidence, connection, independence, and the skills they need to feel successful in everyday life. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, individualized, meaningful, and fun, creating a comfortable space for children and adolescents to be themselves while building new skills.
Taylor’s areas of specialty and clinical interest include:
Taylor particularly enjoys supporting executive functioning and everyday independence, helping children and adolescents build skills for planning, organization, initiation, flexibility, problem-solving, and completing tasks. She also works with older children and teens on practical life skills, such as managing routines, preparing for school and activities, organizing belongings, navigating responsibilities, and building greater independence at home and in the community.
Taylor has completed Profectum Level 1 DIR/Floortime® training and holds a STAR Institute Sensory Integration Hybrid Level 1 Mentorship Certificate. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2016 and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2019.
Taylor’s own journey to occupational therapy began after knee surgery sparked an interest in rehabilitation. As she learned more about OT, she was drawn to the profession’s individualized approach and its ability to help people participate more fully in the things that matter most to them.
Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Taylor has a strong love for the Green Bay Packers and enjoys being outdoors, reading, sand volleyball, and traveling.
