Maggie Peterson

Maggie is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting youth and families in the Omaha community. She believes that genuine connection is at the heart of growth and healing, and she strives to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Maggie is passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges. Maggie focuses on strengthening emotional regulation and self-awareness while honoring each person’s unique story and experiences.
Maggie also values the importance of strong, connected support systems. Building on her experience as a school social worker, she aims to work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to create thoughtful, consistent approaches that help youth feel supported in every part of their lives.
Maggie holds a bachelor's and master's degree in social work from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-worth, self-confidence, problem solving, social skills, emotional regulation and identification, peer conflict, life skills, behavioral concerns, and school-related challenges (academic and behavioral).
