Gozi Dickson is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) with a strong background in supporting individuals across the lifespan. She deeply believes in the power of human connection as a foundation for healing and prioritizes creating a therapeutic relationship that is non-judgmental, trusting, open, and genuine.
Gozi is a two-time University of Nebraska at Omaha alum, earning her Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2020 and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025. During her training, she completed her clinical internship at Project Harmony. She also has experience in applied behavior analysis with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and in crisis counseling.
Gozi believes healing can take place at any age or stage of life. Her counseling experience spans preschool-aged children through middle-aged adults. She is especially passionate about exploring the ways individuals are connected to both their personal history and their environment.
In her therapeutic work, Gozi integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and a person-centered approach. She values flexibility, tailoring treatment to the unique pace and needs of each individual—because growth and healing look different for everyone.
