She believes in walking alongside children and families as they uncover their strengths, develop resilience, and build the skills they need to face life’s challenges. With warmth, humor, and a deep respect for the healing power of play, Annabella strives to create a safe and supportive environment where growth feels possible and even joyful.
Annabella brings over a decade of experience working with youth in a wide variety of settings. She has served as a Sunday school teacher, a preschool teacher, and in numerous roles supporting children’s development. She previously worked with at-risk adolescents at the Child Saving Institute’s emergency shelter, where she provided care and guidance for youth navigating significant challenges.
Annabella offers individual and group therapy services. Annabella is especially passionate about supporting children through play-based approaches that honor their unique voice and story, and is currently working towards earning her credentials to become a Registered Play Therapist™.
Annabella earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Dordt University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Dordt. Her training, paired with her hands-on experience, equips her to walk with children and families through both struggles and successes.
